Marietta makes a statement in the simplest of ways. Her French 1950s-inspired corset is cut delicately by our artisans on the bias, swathing the bust and waist in expertly crafted panels. Designed not only for elegance, but for all-day comfort, the bias cut allows you to breath, and stretches with the movement and excitement of your day.
The rich buttery Mikado skirt (which is pictured in our Ivory, Panna cotta, shade) is treated with Lucia Josephine's signature lightweight organza lining for freedom of movement. Her sweetheart neckline is paired with a true full-circle skirt that bares no seams, and a voluminous chapel train for a modern take on the traditional bride.

As your gown is made to order in Australia, you have the option to customise and make MARIETTA your own. Please note certain customisations may increase the price. Some customisation options include but are not limited to:
A customised bodice with an alternative neckline; such as a balconette shape with exaggerated points, or a square straight-across neckline
Train options: No train, Sweep (150CM from waist to floor), or Cathedral (220CM-250CM from waist to floor)

Craftsmanship & Techniques
A bias-cut bodice is one of the most difficult patterns to achieve, and only the most skilled artisans can handle precise placement.
As the panels are so individual on the body, they will be shaped and fitted on you.
The Marietta gown features bias cut panels that wrap around the body, front & back and a true full circle skirt (not ¾) with no seams.
It also includes an invisible pockets lined with organza and a shapely train (180cm is pictured).
